Different players have had different consequences. Palmero. 10 game suspension. Bonds. Season suspension and is still going on for more maybe. Roger Clemens too. Like it shouldnt be that hard just to figure out if someone is using drugs of any sort.

well bonds could be serving time in jail for lying to a grand jury but palmerio was caught only once (i think) so there are a set number of games you will be suspended for your 1st and 2nd time....... im ready for this steriod era to be over why cant players just get into the weight room and get buff a legal way and keep your manhoods from shrinking and your voice getting higher.

Where do the people that get voted on Survivor go that aren't on the jury?

They are out of the game, and they supposedly are sent "home", but I don't think they go back to the U.S. I remember hearing once that they have to stay nearby, like in a hotel, for the remainder of the 39 days.
If they returned to the U.S. after 3 days, then people who knew them would figure out that they got voted out early, and then there would be no suspense about who got voted out.
I can't find any official rules that talk about this, just this one:
"Survivors may not disclose how long they or other contestants lasted or any other evidence that would give away the season winner. Doing so will forfeit their own prize money and may open them up to a lawsuit."
This leads me to think they can't return home until the entire 39 days is up.
