Answer
Deion Sanders is not your guy! The answer to your question is nobody and it makes for a great trivia question. On Saturday, October 10,1992 Deion Sanders played in game 4 of the NLCS for the Atlanta Braves against the Pittsburgh Pirates at Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh. After the game he flew to Miami where the Atlanta Falcons were playing the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, October 11. He played the entire game and then via limo, helicopter, plane and another limo was back at Three Rivers Stadium for game 5 of the NLCS. He arrived 20 minutes before the start of the game. The Braves lost 7-1 and DEION SANDERS DID NOT PLAY IN THE GAME! Therefore, he DID NOT play baseball and football on the SAME DAY but did play both sports within a 24 hour period! FYI...he is the only athlete to play in a World Series AND a Super Bowl!

What games are going to be 1-11 in MLB Network's 20 Greatest Games?

They announced tonight that #12 is going to be Game 4 of the 2001 World Series, putting it with:

Game 7 of the 2003 World Series
Game 6 of the 1993 World Series
Game 5 of the 1995 ALDS
Tigers/Twins Tie-Breaker
Game 4 of the 2004 ALCS
Game 5 of the 1980 NLCS
Game 4 of the 2003 NLDS
Phillies vs. Cubs in 1979

---

I'm assuming they'll include Game 7 of the 1991 World Series, Game 7 of the 2001 World Series, the finale of the 1992 NLCS, Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS, the 2007 tie-break game, and Game 7 of the 2006 NLCS.

What else do you think they'll have?

Answer
I can't argue with any of your choices... though if it were up to me, I'd pick Game 4 of the 2003 ALCS instead - that was the game that really started the Red Sox comeback. But I don't have the list of choices for voting in front of me, so I don't know if that was an option.

I'm a Twins fan, so I'm biased, but I would be shocked if Game 7 of 1991 didn't make the Top 5. Same with Game 7 of 2001. Those were two of the classic World Series games of all time.

Also, I don't know what the cut off date was for this countdown, but if games from 1960 are allowed in, then I think Game 7 of that World Series would have to make the cut. That was teh game with teh Bill Mazeroski home run.

Finally, you can't forget Game 6 of 1975, the one where Carlton Fisk waved his home run fair at Fenway Park. That one could make #1.
