My boyfriend has a son who I feel does not play age appropriate games. (I'm asking this because I honestly have no clue, hoping parents with similar aged children can help)
He watches wow wow wubbzy and plays the games online. He plays many online nick jr games I feel is below him.
I'm not trying to say "oh, He is sooo smart". I believe he is about average in that department. I just feel he wants to play the easier games so he can win, rather than challenging himself to learn new skills.
Is wow wow wubbzy for younger children, Diego, and others like that, or am I just expecting too much?

My 4 yo son loves Wubbzy, and plays games online like that, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, My Friends Tigger and Pooh, Special Agent Oso, etc. My 1 yo daughter also loves these shows. These are preschooler shows. Noggin, which is the Nickelodeon channel that airs these shows, is a channel for preschoolers. Since 6 is kindergarten age, or even 1st grade, I would say they are beneath him, for sure. I'm not sure what is age appropriate, since my kids aren't there yet. Phineas & Ferb, which is on Disney and my son loves, I believe is for a little bit older, but no educational in any way. What about an age appropriate Leap Frog portable game system, like the didj?

Games That An 6 Year Old Girl Can Play By Herself?

I have a little sister who is 6 years old and she is constantly bugging me to play with her every moment that I have, I am her only sibling, but I have camps all day and then I have to clean when I get back and I want to have some time to my self. I have told her and my parents, but no luck. She gets hooked on anything cool, for now it's games, so does anyone have any fun and easy games that she can play by her self? I perfer it to be a one person game with only one player, so no board games where she can play both players.
No handheld games or online games please.
