Computer game is "rewinding?"?

Im playing combat arms, and I have a good video card, and I am playing online, but it keeps rewinding my character. If I go up a latter and get to the top, it will bring me back down. I try to go up steps, I get to the top, and then Im all the way down again....Whats wrong?
