How to make my online games connect? Please help...if any...?

I use an LAN connection. At my place, the server is somekind like detects the connection i try to make is for online games and the server block the connection. Any solution to counter this?

right im guessing that you play some sort of action 3d game like COD4 or quake 3 or something.

peerguardian, if you have it , turn it off, it blocks ip's like gameserver ip's

some servers are 'pure servers' and pb servers
pure servers are servers that have a piece of software that detects if you are using modified game files (cheaters do this ) and it blocks you from enetering the server
pb servers are punkbuster servers, anti cheat software, simple as.

it could be your settings aswell.
if there is a console try typing these in
/snaps 40
/rate 25000
/cl_maxpackets 125

Q. what do you thick how i should get ready for a marathon of playing mw2, bad company 2 and fallout new vegas i already have a mini refrigerator what kind of snacks and drinks should i fill it up for a marathon of non stop gaming

The best snacks are ones you donât have to prepareâ¦

Snacks - try these:
-Beef Jerky â Already wrapped and meat is more filling
-Anything with Peanut Butter in it â PB has lots of protein and can take longer to digest so you feel full longer.
-Trail Mix â you can get a variety⦠my favorites have nuts, chocolates, and fruit. Get a prepackaged trail mix at Wal-Mart for 5 bucks⦠last all weekend.

Snacks - Avoid these:
-Popcorn â it makes your mouth feel nasty while youâre trying to play⦠all that butter

Drinks â Try these:
-Redbull! â out of all the energy drinks this is the only one that doesnât make me feel sick or light headed.
-Mountain Dew â it has a higher Caffeine content than other soft drinks. That way you can drink less and still be awake, and not have to drink a bunch of empty calories.

Drinks â Avoid these:
-Gatorade/Powerade â it is actually bad for your health to drink these types of drinks if you are not going to be expending a lot of energy.
-Tea â donât know if this is true for everyone else, but tea goes right through me⦠if you donât want to take a lot of potty breaks then stay away.
