I just watched the highlights again, and I must say I feel like an idiot for turning it off in the 5th or 6th inning to go to bed.
BQ: Which was the more demoralising loss/great win. Game 6 of the 2011 WS, or Game 6 of the 1986 world series
Answer
Actually, I put it right up there with Game 6 of 1986, and Game 6 of 1975 (Boston vs. Cincinnati), and Game 6 of the '86 NLCS, and Game 5 of the '80 NLCS (Phillies vs. Astros).
BQ: For me personally, it was Game 6 in 1986, because I was in Shea Stadium, and saw it all right in front of me.

What game to do you feel was the best World Series game ever played?

Terry
Answer
Wow, so many great games over the years but I would have to go with, game 6 of the 1975 world series, Red Sox vs. Reds.
Bernie Carbo hits a 3 run shot to center field to tie the game at 6-6. Fisk ends a 12 inning gem with a walk off home run that hits the foul pole to force a game 7.
Greatest world series game I ever saw.
