what are some programs that i can use on my computer to create video game 3d environments, and what programs should i use to program the game. The graphics im wanting are like playstation 1 graphics( in other words no fancy realistic 3d graphics).
im trying to recreate a game but im wanting to make it in a 3d environment instead of a 2d one.
so i guess i would start from scratch. but please tell what programs i could thank you.

www.byond.com has free software to create games, 3d environments, etc. It seems like a fairly simple language to use, and there are forums to ask questions, tutorials.
