How to transport The Sims 3 from laptop to computer?

So I bought The Sims 3 game online and downloaded it on my (mac)laptop, but I wanna know if there is a way to transport it to my main house computer(also mac)? Since I got a new and bigger Mac with a big screen that would be so much funner to play in it!

Try to locate the "save" files and copy them, then on your new computer, start a new game and just instantly save, so a saves folder will be created. Then copy and paste the old save files into your new save folder.

I dunno if this will work for sims but other games it does.
