Picked up a Game Genie for Genesis. Ive never used one and I'm not sure how it works. I put in the codes and they didn't seem to activate so I assume I'm screwing up somewhere.

Some games have a "master code" that must be entered first in order for the codes to work. Usually it's listed on top of all the other codes.
