This World Series had everything any baseball fan could hope for! The tension, the strategy,
clutch plays and heroes.I think this is the best WS ever. You can include Don Larsens
"perfect game", Willie Mays back to the plate catch. You may agree or disagree I respect
everyone opinion.This is one of the great and enduring things about baseball.I suggest you
tee it up and hit one out of the park! I thank you Mr. Doubleday! This is for the managers
in baseball.Instead of sitting in the dugout and wringing your hands when things aren't
going well do something about it! Pinch run; hit, pitch out etc.I suggest you play Bochey Ball!

Don't know if I'd call it the best series ever. After all, it only went 5 games. The best series ever by default needs to go to 7. Still, it was a display of how to win in MLB as a team. There was not 1 single hero or defining player to the Giants. They didn't have a Josh Hamilton or Jeter to rally behind. It was simply a complete team effort, and they crushed the Rangers with it.
Additionally it featured a display of truly dominating pitching, a scary thought for Giants opponents in the years to come as all 4 pitchers are young, and locked up until 2013.

I want to take a break from BF3 for a while but dont know what is out now that is any good. I want something with great graphics and smooth gameplay (basically a kick@ss shooter). I really dont want it for online, just a good story to take me off BF3 for a week or 2.
Hell, it doesnt even have to be a shooter, just something newer with smooth, precise gameplay and great graphics.
(I would prefer it rated M simply it is generally less restrained and 90% of the time, better)
Got both of those already. Got bored with Deus and not crazy about borderlands
played all uncharted, both infamous, and MW3. I was considering Spec Ops, doesnt look too bad. Any others?
played all those but might try Bioshock again but not crazy about open world unless its like Red Dead Redemption (already burned through that one too)

Bioshock. - There are 2 Bioshock games right now, 1 and 2. In 2013 Bioshock Infinite is being released. I really recommend this game. Very fun with great graphics. Complex storyline. Unlike most games you see nowadays. First person gameplay with weapons and super powers. And it has a pretty big open world to run around in. Rated M.
Assassin's Creed. - Great series as well. You go around as an assassin and kill bad people. Huge open world that offers hours of gameplay. Might want to wait for the new Assassin's Creed 3 coming in October 2012. Very fun game I recommend. Rated M.
Infamous. - Great game. You get super electric powers and you chose to either become a super hero or a super villain. Huge city that you can do what ever you want to in. Very good game with great plot. Rated T.
Postal 2. - Craziest shit ever. This game is GTA on steroids. You live in this town and you can do whatever you want. Want to go on a rampage? You go on a rampage. If you are bored and just want to mess around then this is the game for you. Rated M.
Uncharted. - Great series. Uncharted 1, 2, and 3. You play as a treasure hunter who goes out looking for treasure and finds trouble along the way. Tons of guns from handguns to crossbows to bazookas. Tons of secrets in each game with hours of gameplay. Has some puzzles as well. Rated T.
Warhawk/Starhawk. - Very interesting gameplay. The best vehicle war game I've ever played. Flying jets and driving tanks is as smooth as video games get. There is no story mode but when playing with friends or online it's very fun. Rated T
L.A. Noire. - Detective game. Great story line which will make you want to know what happens next. Semi open world as well. Drive cars. I recommend it to any one who wants to relax and play a nice interesting game. Rated M.
Fallout. - Great series. Awesome weapons and great graphics. Will provide hours and hours of gameplay. Open world. RPG where you get to decide what your character will do and how they'll do it. The story revolves around your choices ingame. Rated M.
Call of Cthulhu. -Detective game. You're a detective that goes to investigate a cult who has been causing trouble. Once you start digging into everything you find more than you bargained for. Very dramatic game. Rated M.
Amnesia. - Very creepy game. Play this at night for the most thrill. Puzzle/thriller/horror game. Very fun to play with friends. May not be you're type of game though. Can creep you out. Rated M.
