Is Final Fantasy 11 online only?

Q. Is it online only? Do you have to pay to play it?

Answer
Yes, its an online only game, and yes a subscription is needed to play it (@12.95 a month and an extra $1 per character) It is an extremely difficult game to get into because most players who actually still play are so high level they have no time to help you out, im telling you right now that if your into modern mmorpgs then you will NOT like this, there is no direction at the beginning, and besides the quest description you get no indicator of where you need to go. No matter how amazed you might be by how great this game is, your likely wrong. If your still dedicated to it then now is a good time to join (you can get the game for $10 with all the expantion packs included, a free hat that you will use many times, and a free month of gameplay without paying anything, but that still requires credit card information) Honestly I was pretty sad to see how difficult it was to play this game, in fact im on my way to cancel my subscription as we speak.

The servers are still up, the only thing that was shut down was the "tetra master" card game that came with the game, which was pretty much a revised version of the FF9 card game. Yes they are still coming out with expantions, one is due to release in 2013, this game has stayed P2P even after 10 years, it has a great track record and many faithfuls, but unless you have played from the start you are EXTREMELY unlikely to understand most of whats going on. Also ff14 ended up being a massive blunder, more than 50% of the players switched back to 11.

Gamefly or massive multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG) - what should I choose?

'Golde

Hey everyone,

I need everyone's assistance on opinions on whether I should choose Gamefly or MMORPG's that go by the name of Rift and Guild Wars 2. As of late, I've seen the newly released games populace decrease ever since 2013 started, and with every newly released video game, the video games do not live up to their hype like with Omerta: City of Gangsters that was rated an overall 6.2 (I believe) on Gamefly. I found that most other newly released video games could only score a 6 or a 7, while only two video games scored 9 points (BioShock Infinite and the remake of Tomb Raider). I have enjoyed MMORPG's ever since I was sixteen years old, starting off on World of Warcraft then moving on to Rift before I quit, and so have I started at that age on Gamefly with game console video games. I cannot make this decision on my own because both MMORPG's and Gamefly have matchmaking qualities that I cannot slim down to cons and pros at all. So, with this being said, should I choose MMORPG's or Gamefly? Are MMORPG's still worth the buy or will I be proven wrong with the current gaming system video games that are out today? Thanks for all of your opinions in advance, best answer receives ten points.

Answer
well first off wanna say that its not a remake of tomb raider its the time where she became brave and adventuress before all the tomb raider series but in my opinion i say go for the mmorpg though with gamefly you have to buy or rent the games and send them back if you dont like it but seem like a waste sorta so i say mmorpg

There's also SW:TOR, but it's kinda meh. Some people seem to enjoy it, even if customer support has been terribad (in my experience).

Aion isn't too shabby, it's different but there are better options out there.

EVE Online is another alternative, much different than any other MMO I've ever played. Pretty fun when playing with friends, but it can take forEVER to get some things done.

Guild Wars 2 will be out soon, that's another buy-to-play option with no monthly sub. From what I've seen, it's more PVP focused though.

And finally, some time in 2013 we will have The Elder Scrolls: Online.

Any Good online android multiplayer games?
