***more specifically, in Camden yards (if anyone knows)?

and how can I get Jacoby Ellsbury's autograph at one of the games next week AT baltimore? (day or night easier?)
or what are some strategies for getting autographs from Red Sox players?

any tips or other info is appreciated! thanks for any help!

I want to host a game night with a few friends at my house (maybe for my 14th birthday in a couple weeks?). I want suggestions from when, how long, what kinds of games, how many people, what kinds of food? everything, i want to know maybe personal experiences, ways i can make it great, etc., also, if you know any websites that are a how to kind of a thing, that'll help too! thanks a lot, i appreciate it!

I have a game that we play often. It's called THINGS but you don't have to buy the game you can just make it up yourself. Have alot of small strip size pieces of paper ready for the answers and a pen or pencil for everyone. The way we do it is, everyone makes up a question that starts with THINGS. Example: Things you do in the shower, Things you find in a bathroom, Things you can order in a restaurant..... Some of these questions can get pretty funny. You would pick a question and everyone has to secretly write down their answers on a piece of paper. One person will be elected to read them out loud. Then in a circle the person guesses who guest the answer. Example: Things you would find in a bedroom. Julie wrote pillow, Jess wrote slippers, John wrote lingerie. Julie guesses that John wrote lingerie so he's out. Buf if Julie guesses he wrote slippers then she would lose her turn and the next person would try to guess. The winner is the one who's answer nobody could guess. It's really fun when you're a large group because another challenge is to remember what the answers were altogether. You are allowed to read the questions only 2 times (unless the last 2 people can't remember at all then we read them all again) It's really a fun game that everyone can play and you can do it yourself so you don't have to buy a new game. Another game is the word game where everyone has a sticker and you're not allowed to say a certain word. If you are caught saying a certain word (ex: birthday) then you lose your sticker to the person who caught you. If someone has many stickers and is caught that person has to give all their stickers away. If you lost your sticker you can still win them back. A prize goes to the person with the most stickers at the end. (can be played with bracelets or other things as well) Another bought game that is fun is the scene it DVD games or Cranium. We also play pictionary but instead of drawing we play it charades style where we act out the object. We use the board to move around and play in teams (boys against girls) can get pretty exciting! For food a nacho layer dip is always good, rolling and baking cut up pieces of hot dog in puff pastry is yummy, chips and dip are a must, make your own pizzas are always a hit (the kraft box is the best for crust), cheese ball and crackers.... There are so many options! HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY!!! MOST IMPORTANT IS TO HAVE FUN NO MATTER WHAT!!!

Does your family have a game night?

What night is it? What games do you play? What snacks and other fun stuff do you incorporate?

We have family time, and each night we have a quiet time before bed.

We do a game nite once a month and a movie night at least the same. Its nomrally either Fri or Sat. In the winter with the snow, sometimes we a do a family Day where we spend a sotrmy day, Sat or Sun, indoors playing games, reading books often together, watchign dvds, playing legos, etc. On those days my boys often will stay in thier sleepers and louge around in them, which they love to do.

When we do game or movie night we normally do popcorn, as its cost effective. Esp since sometimes there might be an extra mouth or 2 to feed.. Sometimes its nachos also as teh boys all love that too. I will normally do a warm soup and grilled cheese for dinner on the movie nights, esp on wintery night, as its warming and helps calm the boys as well, and its also very good for them.

As far as games it varies. Sometimes we all get out the lego tubs and all of us play legos on the floor in the living/family room. We also will sometimes do a video game night and we all take turns playing multi player games that are good for the family. Also we will do puzzles and boardgames. Monopoly works well and sometimes its a team thing. I like Trivial Pursuit, as it smakes teh boys think and they learn too. We normally break into 2 teams sometimes 3 if we have guests over and have a beat going. Last time it was the losing team had to do the clean up afterwards, before we started the movie. As I have found that if we play games until bedtime, the boys are more hyper and have a harder time sleeping and also that leaves me 2 do all the clean up. But if we play until liek 8ish and then clean up and then all watch a movie together that works really well, and often they are asleep before the movie is over, or else ready for bed then. Granted I might have to change 2-3 of them when I put them 2 bed, but its worth it and they enjoy it and they sleep well so all is good then.

What are some good games for a game night?

I am planning a game night, not sure when but I would like to invite family and friends. I need a few ideas of fun new exciting games to play besides the usual family feud, monopoly, etc. Also you can include some drinking games too..

We have poker night and these are always the first thing to go..

Bacon wrapped hot dogs
INGREDIENTS:
2 pounds (20) hot dogs, cut in thirds crosswise
1 pound bacon (20 slices), cut in thirds crosswise
brown sugar
PREPARATION:
Take a piece of hot dog and piece of bacon, wrap bacon around hot dog. Secure bacon to hot dogs with toothpicks. Layer on a cookie sheet and cover with generous amount of brown sugar. Bake for 15 minutes on 375 or until bacon looks cooked. You can then transfer them to a crock pot to keep warm.

The original recipe called to cook them in the crock pot for several hours but this is faster and allows you to take them out of the grease before putting them in the crock pot.

If you are still in need of more ideas...
Make it easy for people to eat. Lots of take with you finger foods....
Finger sandwiches:
Turkey with cheese with dijonaise
Ham with cream cheese and olives
Apple with sunflour seeds and cheddar
Roast beef with garlic aoili

Quiche: ( mini)
Ham and Cheese
Broccoli and Cheddar
Bacon and Mushroom

Fruit Skewers
Veggie tray
Deviled Eggs
Bread Bowl with dip
Stuffed Mushrooms

Bacon Pasteries:
8 strips of bacon, cooked 3/4 C grated cheese
1 sm onion, chopped 1/2 C mayo
1 med tomato, chopped 1T Fresh Basil Chopped
1 Large can refrigerated biscuits( Flaky Style)

In a mixing bowl combine bacon, onion, tomato, cheese, mayo and basil. Seperate each biscuit into 2 to 3 layers and flatten slightly in your hand. Press the flattened section of biscuit into mini muffin pans. Spoon filling mixture into each biscuit. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes


Mushroom Puffs:
4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
1 can (4 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 tube (8 ounces) crescent roll dough

In a blender, combine the cream cheese, mushrooms, onion and hot pepper sauce; cover and process until blended. Unroll crescent dough; separate into four rectangles. Press perforations to seal. Spread mushroom mixture over dough.
Roll up jelly-roll style, starting with a long side. Cut each roll into five slices; place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 425° for 8-10 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.

Truffle Brownie Cups:
1 2/3 c. chocolate chips
2 T. butter (not margarine)
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
2/3 c. flour
3/4 c. heavy whipping cream

garnishes: orange zest, maraschino cherries, toasted sliced almonds, whipped topping

Preheat oven to 325. Spray mini-muffin pan with Pam. Microwave 2/3c. Chocolate Chips with butter for 40-60 secs. stirring every 20 seconds - until melted and smooth. Add sugar and egg and stir until smooth. Add flour. Fill mini- muffin cups 2/3 full. Using mini-tart shaper, tap batter to create level tops. Bake 10-12 mins. or until edges are set. (Do not overbake.)

Meanwhile heat cream in microwave for 1-2 minutes until hot. Pour over remaining Chocolate chips, and whisk until smooth. Place in freezer 10-12 mins. stirring every 5 mins. until mixture is cooled and starting to thicken. Spoon ganache into resealable plastic bag.

After removing brownies from oven, let cool 2 mins. Press tops of brownies ith mini-tart shaper to make indentations. Coll 3 more mins. Carefully remove brownie shells from pan. Trim corner of ganache bag, and pipe into each shell. Garnish as desired.


French Onion Tartlets:
Olive oil cooking spray
12 very thin slices white bread, crusts trimmed (recommended: Pepperidge Farm)
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
2 large onions, very thinly sliced
1 bay leaf, fresh or dried
2 teaspoons ground thyme or poultry seasoning
Salt and black pepper
1 pound Swiss cheese, shredded

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Spray both sides of bread and press bread into small 12 cup muffin tin. If you do not own a muffin tin, disposable tins are available on the baking aisle of market. Place bread in oven and toast until golden, 7 or 8 minutes. Remove and reserve.

In a skillet, melt butter into oil. Add onions and bay leaf, season with thyme, salt and pepper. Cook onions until caramel colored, 15 to 18 minutes.

Turn broiler on.

Place spoonfuls of cooked onions in toasted bread cups. Discard bay leaf. Cover onions with cheese and set tarts under hot broiler to bubble and brown cheese. Serve hot.

I think we do game night a little to much...lol. Have fun.
