How long can my hp webcam record?

I have an hp premium autofocus webcam. There is something online that I would like to record with it, as I will be unable to watch it in real time because of work. I have roughly 55GB left on my harddrive and I will be recording in 320x240 QVGA format. What length of time do you think I can record with the webcam?

Depending on how many hrs or min it on for..But i reckon 55gb would be enough maybe..its hard to tell tbh cos some software can take in gigs just for 2min like fraps for recording games..Tbh i would try it at that amount of space left.I would also say aswell dont try to fill your hard drive its not a good thing.Hope it works out.

Which of these phones has the stream messaging? Where it shows the entire conversation to and from your contactee as well as AIM and such? I saw it in one of the reviews. I have a feeling it was the pre. Do the others have something like that?

And with windows mobile, can I maybe add all the stuff that the other phones have that I want? Such as games?

For me there are 3 major differences between these phones.

1) The touch pro 2 was a wonderfull 3.6 inch 480 X 800 resolution display. That is big and beautiful! The best on the market! Most phones are 320X240 and look fuzzy compared to the touch pro 2.

2) The palm pre does not have a memory card slot so it is limited to its 8GB internal memory. Now 8GB is a lot of memory but not enough for me. In my 16GB card in my touch pro 2 I have movies, podcasts, music,,,, a ton of music and a ton of programs. For me the pre is to limited in this regard. And when the 32GB cards come out they do work in the touch pro 2.

3) There is the operating system. If you already have a ton of windows apps that you want to use then go with the touch pro 2

If you want a device that is geared towards social networking, has easy access to music, games and programs online then go with the pre.

If you want an operating system that allows you to do anything you want to with it then go with windows mobile. But you have to know how to use it and where to get the tools and programs to do the things you want to do. Its not as user friendly as the pre.

If you want to be a guinea pig and go with a slow up an coming operating system that is slightly difficult to use and not as good as windows or a pre then go with the magic.

Yes. You can use your computer monitor as a tv. But not just the monitor. You need the cpu too. Buy a tv tuner card and connect it to your pc via USB.

Here is how you use your tv as a computer monitor.

Identify your TV's input connections. Most TVs these days have three basic types of inputs. You have your coaxial cable input, the same as your cable box or satellite, an RCA composite input (the yellow, red and white inputs) and an S-video connector. Newer televisions might have Component Video, DVI, VGA or HDMI inputs but the ones listed above are more common.
Identify your computer's outputs. These days computer manufacturers are adding TV compatible outputs on their products so it's easy to have a pc to tv connection when you hook it up. The S-video in particular seems to be popping up on more and more computers, so a PC to TV S video connector might be what you need. You can shop for S-video cables all over the place online. Mostly you will find the usual VGA output that the regular monitor hooks up to (see more later on VGA cables). The newer multimedia computers will probably have all high definition outputs that connect directly to your HDTV, but for now we will deal with what most people have for both computers and televisions.
Find the appropriate adapter for your connections. You may need to get a computer to TV cable so you can hook up your computer to the TV. If you have an HDTV, you may need a VGA to component cable. This VGA to component cable connects your computer to a HDTV and acts as a converter. (And that computer could be either a Mac or a PC.)
A PC to tv connector has a VGA adapter on one end and (usually) a selection of connectors on the other (S-video, RCA composite and Component). The good thing about these is that you can take it from TV to TV and you'll be able to hook up computer to TV for all of them. I highly recommend a wireless adapter. It costs a bit more but wireless is worth not having a big cable mess and not keeping your computer near your TV.
Connect your computer to your TV. If you have a TV compatible output on your computer, such as an S-video jack, just take an S-video cable and connect it to your computer and your TV. If you do not, then you'll definitely need a VGA to S-video cable or a VGA to component cable -- attach your VGA end of your adapter to your computer and use the RCA, S-video or Component Video cable to attach to your TV. After you've made all the connections, make sure you are on the correct TV video input. Press the input button on your TV or remote until you see your computer's signal.

Now, here is where you might get a little disappointed when trying to connect computer to TV. Your TV's usual video signal is called NTSC (PAL if you live in Europe). This signal is different than the one generated by your computer. Computers use signals measured by pixels: 320x200, 320x240, 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024 or 1600x1200. Most TV's can only get about 500 lines of resolution, in computers this is like 500 vertical pixels. The video amplifiers in televisions cannot handle higher resolutions either. So when you factor these things together you are left with a maximum resolution of 640x480.

This is not the worst thing in the world because even so, when you connect a computer to a TV you can play games and watch video in lower resolutions without a problem. It's just that you will never get close to the resolution your computer monitor will give you. Beware of some PC to TV adapters that claim to give you more than 640x480, they just reduce the quality of the original television signal to compensate.

You can get a VGA to component cable for an HDTV that will give you higher resolutions but you need an HDTV and an adapter that costs usually 2-3 times more than your standard computer to tv adapter. Any way you choose, it is not hard to use your TV as a computer monitor if you follow the few steps above.

The Best Razr Phone??????

I now have the rizr phone by t-mobile but I want a razr phone but not just any razr ,I thought about getting the razr 2 but I don't know if it would be better to shell out a lot of money for it when it dosen't have as many features, or if I should just switch to another service with a cheaper razr that has alot of features.IDK what to do please help.

To me all razrs are the same.. they were all cool when it first came out years ago and no one but a few people like me had it b/c we only people who could afford.. then the price went down to like 68 bucks.. and everyone in the hood had one. I remember when we used ot hack these things.. before they had video camera we flashed the firmware and did all kind've modding to give it that, custom themes and more. I remember making my razr soo loud by messing with the gain table, it was louder than a nextel heh.

as for what you should do.. if u have the money and you seem to be fond of ra zrs, so sure why not. It's just hugely overpriced now at like 300 and something on ebay brand new, but that is cheaper than going in store.. so if u get one get it on ebay.. they wanted over 300 for a v3xx gold (my dad uses) he called the other day and i just goth im one for 149. So whatever you do check ebay first.

i wanted to play a pokemon game of any generation and want to challenge other trainers online ? is there any jave or bada application available for me ?

You can download GBAoid emulator it's a gba emulator for android and then download roms from the internet. You will need androzip file manager to unzip. Step by step :
Step 1 : download androzip file manager from google play

Step 2 : open file manager and make a folder named GBAoid for convenience

Step 3 : google : gbaoid download, download it then unzip in gbaoid folder.

Step 4 : for the emulator to work you will need a bios file. Google : gba.bios download and download it. Place it in gbaoid folder

Step 5 : download rom. Example : type in google pokemon emerald ( by far the best) rom (don't type by far the best). Press enter. Then go to coolrom or emuparadise the best for roms.

Step 6 : unzip rom in gbaoid folder.

Step 7 : open gbaoid, it will ask for a bios file, select the bios file in gbaoid folder and then select a rom example the emerald mentioned in the guide.

Step 8 : enjoy the game
