The last time a road team won a game 7 of the NBA finals was in 1978... since then, the home team has won every time the finals went to a game 7. Why do you think that is? Road teams have won game sevens in earlier rounds, even in the conference finals a few times (2005 and 2002 are two examples) but never in the finals. Why is that?

I think if it gets to game 7 that is a pretty clear indication that the teams are evenly matched so HCA gives that slight advantage to the home team...both teams are so drained so that energy you get from the crowd can be a big help. But truthfully I think the Spurs are a team that can overcome that...they may be one of the ONLY teams that could. We will see!

Well, no matter if you're a loud team like OKC or an invisible one like the Bobcats every teams fans cheer hard as they can in a game 7. It's easier for them to run the fastbreak with the momentum from they're crowd and they don't want to see there fans upset. Some few reasons, but definitely a road team can win in a game 7.
