Can gameboy color games work or get cheats from a gameboy advance gameshark?

I'm thinking about getting a gameshark for my Gameboy Advance but I also want cheats for my Pokemon Crystal and Pokemon Yellow, but I'm not sure weather to get a Gameboy Color Gameshark, a Gameboy Advance Gameshark, or both. Can someone help me? I've shearched all over the Internet looking for advice but they all say something not related to the topic or something else. Please someone help me.

Pretty obvious.. GBA gameshark, because it can play gbc & gba games.

A GBC obviously can't play advance games.

How do you use the gameshark code for catching any pokemon?

Many websites have the gameshark code 91??DFD0 where you replace the ?? with a code for the pokemon you want to catch but im not sure how it works? I entered the code with the pokemon number I want but I still the get same random pokemon in battle, how/when do I need to use the code?

How do I work my PS2 gameshark for my PS3?

My gameshark is gameshark 2 and my PS3 is i think version 1.83 or something. I just want to use my gameshark to play my ps2 games. But when i start it says the title is not compatible with the PS3 system.

A PS3 is not compatible PS2 Gameshark.

Sorry i guess you have to buy a PS3 Gameshark.

Why do my gameshark codes dint'd work in the gameboy emulator?

I collect gameshark codes but it dint work for my pokemon emerald it gives no effect at all. do it mean the code that I have are wrong or there is something wrong in the way I input it? please help. Thanks!

You may be right but then again, you'll never know. I have had bad experiences with Gamesharks and some codes wouldn't work whereas others would. They are NOT very reliable.

You might be doing something wrong, I am not entirely sure. Make sure that you read the instructions correctly.
If any, I hope this helps a little, I may have known more if I had a Gameboy but I do not.
