Problems using GameRanger for the PC?

I downloaded GameRanger for the PC, installed it, and opened it. When I try to open it is says "GameRanger requires adobe flash player to be installed." I have flash installed, I've tried re-installing both GameRanger and adobe flash, and it still doesn't work.
I'm using a PC... like I said in the question...

GameRanger requires the Flash Active-X control to be installed. A small number of machines don't already have this installed.

So when you go to re-install Flash, look for an option that mentions this. Some people have reported success by going to the Flash installer web page using Internet Explorer.

How do you uninstall gameranger?

There is no way to log out, so i need to uninstall gameranger and then reinstall to get on another account....but I dont know how to uninstall it.

1. Click ''Start'' and then click on ''Control Panel''.

2. Then click on ''Add or Remove Programs''

3. Then you will see a list of programs. This list is organized by letter so scroll down until you find where the letter ''G'' begins i.e. Gameranger.

4. When you find Gameranger, click on it and then select ''Uninstall''

I am worried about using gameranger on my mac, since I think it may give my computer a virus. Is the protection/history on gameranger virus/malware free?

GameRanger has been the official multiplayer service on the Mac since 1999 -- it's perfectly safe.

Why do people love GameRanger?

Every time I play a The Battle for Middle Earth I or II game with my friend it lags. It is not my PC, i have an i5 quad core and an HD4850 with 4GBs of RAM, it is clearly the connection. Is it just us?
I have a 6/1 Mbit/s connection, my friend has a 4/0,512 Mbit/s connection. I know these are not the fastest connections, but they should mean no problem.

1. People love GameRanger because it makes all the fun (Outdated) Games that have poor/no Multiplayer, Have multiplayer! The lag may be caused by several things like You dont have the same luancher version, your connection speed, or your friends specs/connection speed it all depends. hope you have fun !

how do I use GameRanger?

I have a mac and I want to play online so i opened age of empires 3 asian dynasties and it told me to download gameranger. I did but every time i click multiplayer in the game menu it closes the game and opens to the lobby. I've joined lobbies but how do I play and stay with the group?

Everything starts with GameRanger, and AoE3 should not be already running.

Once the lobby in GameRanger is ready, AoE3 will be launched automatically.

Can 2 players from same pc play fifa 11 online against others on gameranger?

Here is the situation. I have fifa 11 installed on my PC. My friend comes over and he wants to play, too. We get bored playing against each other and want to play online on gameranger. I have played by myself before, but is it possible we can both play against others onlnine only using my PC and two controllers?

No, that doesn't work. It's only possible to play with one person per computer online. If you want to play offline, it will work, but online no. Each player needs to have their own computer.
