is there an 'online' virus-scanner for free?
Adeel
my computer is such a 'dumb' computer that if i install any anti-virus it starts lagging! i have almost tried 99.9% of the antiviruses and they all make my computer lag. i am a game developer and i develop games then upload them to GameJolt but uploading a game containing virus is not right. so my question is that is there and online virus scanner where i would upload a file containing virus and that online antivirus would remove that virus and would give me a link to download it? also if there is one, then please give me a link to it. 'online virus scanner means that there should be no need to install one!"

Sounds like your computer is already infected, and the virus is working hard to keep the antivirus from installing. While there are online virus scanners, viruses these days are very good at defending against any option launched from within a running operating system. Online scanners work best for scanning suspicious files, not cleaning infected systems.
There are "bootable" antivirus programs that you can use to scan your computer without needing to install them. Since they scan from "outside" the operating system, the virus cannot hide itself by hijacking the OS' own operations. You will need to download the program from another (clean) computer, install it to a CD-R or flash drive, and use it to boot your own computer.
Kaspersky Rescue Disk http://support.kaspersky.com/4162
AVG Rescue CD http://www.avg.com/us-en/avg-rescue-cd
Sophos Bootable Anti-Virus http://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/52011.aspx
These are all "last resort" options for saving your programs and files. If these don't work, reformatting the drive (which erases everything) is the final recourse.
