I don't know what to get can someone help me decide which one to get . I thought about the 360 cause the multiplayer online action is fun , but i've been wanting a Wii since launch.
What would be the best game system to get and what would be the best game to get.

It just depends on what kind of games you want to play. The Wii is great for children and it's very interactive but if you want more mature games and a bigger variety of games, get a 360. The Wii has very few mature games, and most of the games that it has are geared toward children and young adults. If you like a lot of multiplayer get a 360, you have a good selection of RPG's, with more coming, a ton of action games, sports games with online capabilities, and all the content of xbox live. Most games on the Wii are for children, that has been nintendo's rap for years, a lot of pokemon, mario cart, and not a lot of 3rd party support. If you get a 360, there are a lot of games to choose from if you only get one, BioShock, Halo 3, Blue Dragon, Guitar Hero, Grand Theft Auto (next year), Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect in November and a number of others.

I am planning on getting one of the 2 game systems, but I am not sure which.
I really don't plan on playing any games online, or using the consoles for listening to music or watching movies.
I am into more action games, adventure games, shooters, and strategy.

okay looking at your question i realized the perfect console for you is ps3! I dont know why everyone is saying ps3 online sux because it doesn't i play cod mw2 on it and its great. But they do have the little gay avatars you could dress up into stuff and waste real money for gamerpoints. But if your moneywise and smart you would not want to buy a PS3 because when i bought a 360 i needed batteries, online, gamerpoints etc. and it came out too 600$ but with a ps3 its 299.99 you dont need batteries and online its free.
From what i saw and played the only good games they have is deadrising. Because its adventure and a shooter. Great storyline and the best game for it. Anyways Dont buy a xbox 360 because there games are only like 20 hrs of gameplay then your bored like L4D2..with ps3 u have more and much better games for the ps3 and they have exclusives which the xbox does not. It only has halo. And halo is not that great. Halo 1 and 2 and even 3 were okay but they ruined it!
THey only have shooters! You want variety in your diet! thirteen of my football buddies switched to ps3 becuase of RROD trust me its worth it they're so happy now and they overlook there xbox 360 in every way!
Anyways im not trying to rant im trying to stay positive because i want u to get the best gaming exeperience possible because you sound like a great person for gaming. anyways buy the cheap 60 gig ps3 and buy an sata 350 gb hardrive with it and Bam 350 gb ps3 That you can play ps2 and ps1 games on it. Plus final fantasy , kingdom of hearts and twisted metal black is exclusively upcoming for the ps3 only and alot more! message me what to do if you buy one and want the sata memory drive for it i will help!
Anyways if your still having trouble watch this guys comparissons ps3 is winner in it by the way he goes intellectually through comparisson liking both and then he has to choose.
