game engine architecture

I'm creating the setting of a fictional world for a video game.
I need examples of more rural or suburban European Architecture around the mid 1800's, but other time periods around there and in different places throughout Europe are fine.
I just need to find examples to create an interesting village with, since I suck at architecture.
Any websites or further direction from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

What is it about the new PS4 that makes it easy to develop games for?
Connor
So in the 2hr unveiling, Sony constantly talks about how they wanted the new PS4 to be easy for game developers to create games. But why is this, I'm not asking why would Sony do this, thats an obvious one, the easier it is to create something, the more detailed and in depth you can make it. No what I'm asking is, how is this possible, is it because of the hardware they have chosen for the new console? Because from what I have read, the Graphics card chosen for the PS4 is the AMD "Jaguar" Processor Line. And this is a graphics card typically used in things like smart phones and tablets. But I also know that games are a lot easier to make on smart phones and tablets, but is this because of their graphics cards or just because they are smaller or something? Is it the hardware (and mainly the graphics card) that Sony have chosen for the new PS4 that will make it easier for game developers to create games? And to ad to this already kind of long question, will the graphics on the new PS4 be comparable to high end gaming PC's? I know that as we go on over the next couple of years technology will get better still and so will graphics cards, but when the PS4 is realised will it compete in the graphics department with some of the higher end gaming PC's?
Answer
The CPU and GPU architecture of the PS4 is more PC-like. Developers are used to developing on systems that have PC-like parts, which makes developing a game easier for them. The PS3's Cell Broadband Engine CPU was not very developer friendly and it was different from PC CPUs.
