Im throwing a surprise party for my husband's 25th birthday. Do you have any idea for fun games that we can do with adults and kids? Or any other ideas for anything would be nice too. I can use all the help I can get! Thanks.
Answer
Kids game are silly and can be plaed by kids and adults, but adult games might be to much - so go with fun games that both can play or you can play as team.
That said consider relay race games, search and find games, printable trivia and action games, target games (good for teams) - I found a lot of games here (big list of do it yourself games) http://partygameideas.com/kids-games/games-list.php
Have fun.

Answer
Its about knowing what's good for your kids as a parent.
Lets be clear, i have no kids, but i do know this, my best friend cousins.
Both are the same age, 8 to 9 years old.
One is a complete terror when it comes to video games, and I had the privilege to watch these kids for 2 weeks, so i know, when he played a somewhat violent game, zelda, he would runaround the house throwing stuff and being bad. He gets restricted all the time from playing, and his mom has to watch what he plays.
His brother? Calm as hell. He even uses a website to make his own super mario levels, real smart., and as a bonus, for his age he gets more play time, and can play games his brother cannot.
So can violent games make kids more violent? Yes and no.
From there i could go into how some people grow up, and lets be frank, want to go and kill people, and unfortunately, some do.
Blame the games? You can, and the parents while your at it. Or, i don't know, how about the obvious mental instability that might of had something to do with it.
I play shooters all the time, yet, i know i cant go out and kill people. Because that's bad. Does it make the game bad? Nope.
So you see, i made several points here, and the thing is, some people will agree with them, or disagree with them.
But that's how i feel.
Hope i answered your question today.
