I need gaming PC buying advice?

Hey people of the internet. I have come to the conclusion that it is time for me to upgrade my PC so I can play some new games. Some friends recommended Alienware, but I did some research and heard that they were way overpriced and broke easily, So I cut that option. Now I am stuck, I have been told to make my own. Sadly, I have never built a PC and don't intend on learning how to right now. I have also been told to order the parts myself then ship it off to someone or find a store that will build it for you. I would like to buy a PC completely built and ready to go. If anyone has any recommendations please let me know. Thanks!
