I find myself getting gradualy run down during the day, even if ive had a great morning and im raring to go when i start. As soon as i sit in my desk i quite literally feel the enthusiasm getting sucked out of me untill im just left as a moody grump doing little to no work near the end of the day. Im sure there are lots of people who feel like this so if any of you want to share how you get through the day I'd be grateful.

I relate! I am always trying to come up with ways to motivate myself to work jobs that aren't that interesting or have done so many times, and it's not easy. Sometimes I make it a game and see if I can beat my time in getting something done or find a new way to do it that adds some challenge. You're probably intelligent and need challenge, and sometimes you need to create that challenge for yourself when your work doesn't do it. Take some classes or learn something new. Your brain needs a workout and that's why it's crying out for motivation. You will find it easier to do the trivial things if you have something more interesting to look forward to the rest of the day. Also, maybe it's time to see if you would like to size up a new job. I think you need more challenge. So take the leap of faith and look into a new job for the future. If you're that bored, you need to plan on moving on. You may need more training so get started now while you're in this job. God bless you.
