My ps3 shows the disk but wont play them?

My ps3 shows the game disk and that its in there (most of the time) but it wont play the game or movie. anyone know anyway to fix? before i have to take it in

Like 6 months ago it froze and wouldnt read the disk or show it was even in the system and i replaced the laser but this time it actually shows the disk

that same thing happened to my brothers x-box. the reason for his trouble was because he had to get the games professionally cleaned. he headed to game headz and when he got back they were working as if they were new. each one cost him only $5. good luck

Old Alien Game I Can't Remember?

Hey, can you help me find this game? It might be hard to find since I played it about 7-8 years ago.

It believe I played it on the PC, but I'm pretty sure it was an online game you didn't have to buy. I remember it was a top-down perspective kind of game and there was a sort of stealth element involved. Essentially everyone was an alien and you could somehow swap body parts with them(after defeating them?). Swapping with enemies would give boosts to some sort of stats on your character. I'm pretty sure that for the stealth part, there would be a cone to see how far enemies could see. Lastly, I think the name of the game started with a "G".

That's all I really remember, but any help would be appreciated!
